Our most frequently asked questions about our live Zoom seminars

How long does the live Zoom course last?

The live course lasts approximately 3 hours depending on how much audience participation there is and includes a Live “salon specific” Q&A session and a Live practice session with dogs in your salon at the end.

How do I access the course?

Once you register your interest in a salon course, we will be in touch within a few business days to finalise a date and time suitable for you and we will then send you the Zoom link to join onto the course. You can use the link to share between as many screens within your salon which is necessary so that your whole team can comfortably view the training seminar.

Do I need any special tech or software to join a seminar?

No, you only need to access to Zoom via a smartphone, tablet or PC. Simply click the link which you will be sent via email to join the seminar. You don’t need to pay for the Zoom software to access the training, your web browser may download and install the Zoom client automatically if you don’t already have it installed. If this is the case, just press “launch meeting” to access the Zoom training.

Who is the course designed for?

Our emmi®-pet “salon specific” training course is perfect for any salon who is looking to add the emmi-pet service into their business or upskill their workforce.

The training will be bespoke to your salon training needs and includes a Live “salon specific” Q&A session as standard at the end of the training.

Do I need the kit to join the zoom?

There are no prerequisites in terms of equipment, you can purchase the equipment anytime, whether that’s before or after your training, once you’re ready to get started implementing what you’ve learned and are ready to use as part of your business.

You will also receive a 5% discount code off your first salon order.

Am I able to ask questions?

Yes, questions are encouraged. There will be regular intervals during the training session where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. If you don’t feel confident speaking then feel free to add questions to the chat box and I will check it periodically to review your questions and answer during the session. And remember, no question is a silly question, your fellow attendees may be wondering the same thing!

Will I need a webcam or microphone?

You don’t need to show your face on camera if you don’t wish to, so a webcam isn’t mandatory. You will need to check that your speakers work for the audio, and a microphone is a good idea for asking any questions you may have, however we do have a chat function if you don’t wish to speak.

Will it be recorded?

No, live sessions are not recorded.

Will completing the salon specific training provide the salon with the necessary skills to get started with the emmi®-pet?

Yes absolutely, we will cover a range of topics from how to use the equipment, to using it in specific businesses as well as how to price and market the service, giving you all the confidence you need to put your knowledge into practice.

We also offer post training support to, and our trainer Emma is on hand to support you too!

Do I receive a certificate?

Yes, all staff members will be emailed a certificate within 10 business days after the training, and the certification is endorsed by the emmi®-pet manufacturer.

Do I get post training support?

After the training is complete, you will receive an email with all of the post training support resources you could need, including marketing templates for social media, user manuals, training information from the seminar, and you also have access to our Facebook support group to ask any post-support questions to Emma and other pet care professionals who have completed our training
